Terms of use of the #mymdm photo-video gallery

The company MAISONS DU MONDE France (hereinafter "MAISONS DU MONDE"), is a simplified stock company with capital of €57.375.590, registered with the RCS of Nantes under number 383196656, with corporate headquarters at Route du Port aux Meules, Le Portereau, VERTOU (44120 - LoireAtlantique), France. We have created a photo/video gallery called "#mymdm" on our website, containing a selection of photographs and videos published by our customers and/or visitors (hereinafter "You, User, or Users") showcasing MAISONS DU MONDE products and/or branding (hereinafter "Content"). By sharing Content, you automatically accept all of these terms of use.

Article 1: Conditions for Publishing Content

Any legally competent adult individual can share Content. By authorizing MAISONS DU MONDE to publish your Content on the picture/video gallery called "#mymdm" as well as on all marketing media and social media accounts of MAISONS DU MONDE, you confirm and guarantee to MAISONS DU MONDE that you are over 18 years old. Content by minors or containing images of minors cannot be shared without the consent of their parents or legal guardians. You confirm that you own all the intellectual property rights to the Content you publish and that you have the necessary authorisations of the people who appear in the Content. MAISONS DU MONDE reserves the right to ask Users to provide proof of this at any time.

Article 2: Criteria for Selecting Photographs and Videos

MAISONS DU MONDE selects the Content which, in our view, highlights our brand, our products, our brand image, etc., without having to justify our choice. We reserve the right to select any or all of the Content, at our discretion and without any obligation to the User. We are not required to publish Content that is submitted to us. We make our selection from the Content published on the MAISONS DU MONDE website maisonsdumonde.com as well as on the Users’ Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook accounts. You agree that we have the right to moderate and select the Content.

For the Content be submitted to MAISONS DU MONDE, you must tag your Content with the hashtags used by MAISONS DU MONDE (#maisonsdumonde, #maisondumonde, #maisonsdumondeaddict, #mymdm).

The photographs and videos published must not be inappropriate or objectionable and must not violate local laws. Accordingly, the following types Content are prohibited:

  • Racist, violent, erotic, pornographic, obscene, offensive, misleading, defamatory, disrespectful;
  • Harmful to minors;
  • Violation of privacy;
  • Offensive to human dignity;
  • Counterfeiting, unfair competition or free-riding.

Article 3: Assignment of Rights to the Content

By responding #GOMDM to MAISONS DU MONDE’s request for authorisation to publish your Content, you grant MAISONS DU MONDE the right to reproduce any or all of the Content you share directly or indirectly, by any technical and/or digital processes, on any marketing media and social media accounts of MAISONS DU MONDE. This assignment is granted free of charge, for the entire world for a period of three (3) years, renewable.

“Marketing media” includes, but is not limited to, the home page of the MAISONS DU MONDE website, product data sheets, newsletters, featured advertising, order confirmation e-mails, MAISONS DU MONDE catalogues, MAISONS DU MONDE brochures, retail window displays of the MAISONS DU MONDE stores, display screens in stores and MAISONS DU MONDE videos.

"Social media" includes MAISONS DU MONDE Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest accounts and any other social media. By authorizing MAISONS DU MONDE to publish your Content on MAISONS DU MONDE social media accounts, you understand that your Content is likely to be shared widely, which MAISONS DU MONDE cannot be held responsible for.

Article 4: Request to Delete Content

You can request that your Content be deleted from the photo/video gallery. To do this, you must send a request by mail to the following address:

Or by email to the following address: contact.client@maisonsdumonde.com. To report any violation of these terms of use of the #mymdm Photo Video Gallery, send your report in writing by mail or e-mail to the above addresses.

MAISONS DU MONDE cannot be held liable if a user fails to comply with these terms of use. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended by Act No. 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, you have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the use of your personal data. You can exercise this right by sending a request by mail to the following address:
